While significant progress has been made in understanding and managing PE, there is still much to be done, especially in low-resource settings. Current treatments like magnesium sulfate and low-dose aspirin have been shown to improve outcomes, but early detection and personalized care remain crucial. Further research into targeted therapies and molecular pathways could provide new treatment options, but these must be tested carefully in pregnant populations. Addressing the psychosocial aspects of PE and ensuring that women have access to comprehensive, supportive care is also essential for improving both maternal and fetal health outcomes. Ultimately, a multifaceted approach, combining medical, psychological, and social interventions, is essential to reduce the burden of PE and improve global maternal health.
