dc.description.abstractThe aim of this thesis is to explore the development of the motion pictures by emphasizing the importance of the film theatres through the history of the Apolló mozi of Debrecen. I would also like to present a few Hungarian filmmakers’ influence and greatness in the cinematography from Europe to Hollywood. Last but not least, it is important to examine how the small traditional art house cinemas are trying to survive and go along with technical innovation.hu_HU
