Lao PDR contributes with the diversity of population where this case has attracted us to investigate the details of the labor market in Laos, especially Vientiane Capital. This research aims to examine the probability of employment in Vientiane Capital which was collected by the designed questionnaires in 2022 with the convenience sampling. The Logit Model aims to estimate the study variables in this thesis. Beside the variables of gender, age, single status, ethnic, education level, average monthly household income, and part time are designed to find the opportunity to be employed in the Vientiane Capital in 2022. The results of model estimation demonstrates that the probability of the studied variables towards employment in Vientiane Capital’s labor market in 2022 got impacted by the positive relation with the variable of education level, age, marital status as single and negative relation with average monthly household income as statistically significant.
