My thesis talks about the pharmacological therapy of Major Depressive disorder. Major Depressive disorder is the most common form of depression. It is a major cause of disability worldwide. My thesis focuses on the conventional and Novel antidepressants that are used in the treatment of Major Depressive disorder. It also talks about other non-pharmacological methods used in the treatment of Major Depressive disorder. It compares their efficacies. My thesis also seeks to mention some of the future and possible targets for antidepressant therapy.
