In my thesis paper first I would like to examine women’s place in the society at the beginning of the nineteenth century, their role at home and their attitude to the domestic sphere. Then I would like to show how women’s lives have been changed by access to quality education, professional recognition, breaking out of domesticity and how these have had an influence on the twentieth century’s Suffragettes Movement. At the end I would like to examine what kind of opportunities women had given in the public sphere in the last third of the nineteenth century and how these events have helped making women’s political demands successful.hu_HU
