dc.description.abstract	A krónikus fájdalom rendkívül nagy terhet ró az egyén fizikai és mentális egészségére is, jelentősen lerontva az életminőséget. A munkaképesség csökkenése vagy elvesztése, és az egészségügyi rendszer fokozott igénybevétele kihat a társadalom egészére is. A krónikus fájdalom jellege a jelenleg érvényes szempontok alapján lehet nociceptív, neuropátiás, vagy nociplasztikus. A nociceptív fájdalomérzet (szomatikus vagy viscerális) előzménye, hogy mechanikai, kémiai és termális ingerek perifériás szöveti sérülés vagy gyulladás által magas ingerküszöbű idegvégződéseket aktiválnak, melyek jeleket továbbítanak a központi idegrendszerbe. Ezzel szemben a neuropátiás fájdalomérzet kiváltó oka maga a jeltovábbító rendszer, tágabb értelemben a szomatoszenzoros rendszer sérülése. A nociplasztikus fájdalom során szöveti sérülés nem történik, de a nociceptív jelfeldolgozó rendszer változásai miatt fájdalomérzet alakul ki. A nociceptív és a neuropátiás fájdalom létrejöttének fontos mediátorai a proinflammatórikus citokinek, amelyek hatásukat a neuraxis minden szintjén kifejthetik. Az interleukin-1 családba tartozó porinflammatórikus citokinek termelődésében fontos szerepet játszik az inflammaszómális rendszer is.
dc.description.abstract	Chronic inflammation places an extra burden on the physical and mental well- being, and considerably impairs the quality of life. The reduction or loss of work ability and the increased use of health care affect the entire society. Based on the present categories, the nature of chronic pain may be nociceptive, neuropathic, or nociplastic. Prior to nociceptive pain (somatic or visceral) mechanical, chemical and thermal stimuli activate high threshold receptors, which convey signals into the central nervous system. Conversely, the main cause of neuropathic pain is either the injury of the signaling system, or in the wider context the impair of the somatosensory system. During nociplastic pain the signal processing is undoubtedly altered, however its mechanism remains unknown without tissue damage. The proinflammatory cytokines, which exert their effects on the entire extent of neuraxis, are crucial mediators of nociceptive and neuropathic pain. The inflammasomal system also contributes to the production of certain amount of cytokines.
