Nowadays the study of immune system related therapies is being explored in all cancer types. The following work will review the various approaches to immunotherapy for tumors, and the role of immunology in specific malignancies. Several therapeutic approaches are being studied to unleash the immune system and control malignancy's, this approach includes cytokines, T cells, oncolytic viruses, therapy's directed at other cell types and vaccines.
