Thrombosis is an extremely common problem and is the underlying cause of 1 in 4 deaths worldwide . Diseases arising from clots in blood vessels include heart attack and stroke, among others . There are now many medications available that can be used to treat and prevent thrombosis, and more are on the way. drugs that have an antithrombotic effect are anticoagulants that limit the ability of the blood to clot antiplatelet drugs that make the migration and aggregation of the platelets limited and thrombolytics that dissolve the formed thrombus. In this thesis, I try to focus on differences in the drugs that are being used clinically and their most important differences.
