This thesis examined the debates surrounding how nations react to migration movements, primarily as they relate to migration from Mexico to the US This thesis explores the intricate connection between migration and the US economy, concentrating on how migration affects economic dynamics. This study's main research topic is: How is migration impacting the US economy? This research aims to reveal the complex consequences of migration on many facets of the economy by a rigorous examination of historical trends, empirical data, and policy frameworks. This research attempts to give a thorough examination of how migration influences economic results in the United States, including labor market dynamics and budgetary consequences. The thesis seeks to bring significant insights to the policy discourse and scholarly discourse around migration policies and economic development plans by tackling this important subject. Understanding the historical background helped one better understand how migratory patterns have changed over time, from the Bracero program to current trends. Migration's effects on the US economy, including changes in salaries, job possibilities, and labor shortages, were shown by empirical investigation. Important conclusions emphasized the intricate dynamics of migration's impact on the US economy and the significance of comprehending the debates surrounding migration practices and policy.
