dc.description.abstractThe dissertation describes the course of PTSD based on three Vietnam war films. It highlights the problems that occur in traumatised individuals and shows how the symptoms of PTSD are represented in the three films. The first film is Taxi Driver (1976). The second is Born on the Fourth of July (1989). The third is Jacob's Ladder (1990).
