Reviewed in the literature of this thesis are the classes of diuretic drugs and their mechanism of action, the form of diuretic therapy taken depending on the kind of illness, the different drug interactions, and adverse effects different classes of diuretics may have once administered together or in combination with a different drug and the further developments of the diuretic classes of drugs.
