dc.description.abstractForehead reconstruction has been always challenging for many surgeons over a long period of time. Since the forehead as one unit is comprised one third of the face, the selection of reconstruction techniques significantly affects the final aesthetic outcome with patient expectation. Therefore, appropriate judgement and treatment of a defect on the forehead are mandatory.When choosing a closure method, various factors including etiology, size and location of the defect, aesthetic unit borders, and anatomical considerations such as preservation of the motor and sensory functions of the forehead region must be considered. In this article, most of the main methods are listed, and it will help to choose appropriate methods to reconstruct the forehead.hu_HU
