dc.description.abstractTransversal anomalies is when patients have narrow maxilla with having class II and III malocclusion in all age groups, from deciduous to permanent dentition. Transversal anomalies have dental related problems like malocclusions, crowding of teeth, posterior cross bite, impacted maxillary canine, respiratory problems and logic problems, also esthetic disharmony. It needs to be treated at the right time because as maxilla and mid- palatal suture matures , it will cause more severe exacerbate complications. This review describes the different treatments which can be applied in different age group and using different kind of appliance types.hu_HU
