This thesis highlights the critical role of the agricultural sector in Lao PDR. Particularly in rural communities, where it the main source of employment and food security. the agricultural sector is increasingly vulnerable to climate-related hazards such as flooding, landslide, droughts and storms that are the significant effect to agriculture productivity and income. there are many challenges in adaptation to climate change in agriculture practice such as uncertainly in predicting weather patterns, financial constraints, the difficult of controlling of pests and diseases, lack of knowledge or information on climate adaptation practice and insufficient government support and policies.
