dc.description.abstractTo evaluate the efficacy of measures taken to reduce the adverse effects of climate change and fulfill the goals of Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement, monitoring the level of GHG emissions is required. Therefore, the aim of this study was to show the trends in total GHG emissions in Bangladesh and its neighboring countries from 1970 to 2015. In addition, the objective of this thesis was to deal with the global effort being made to reduce GHG emissions and actions taken in Bangladesh and its neighboring countries to cope with climate change-related problems.hu_HU
