dc.description.abstractThe fair trade movement has expanded into a global effort to rectify trade imbalances. As its presence and influence have grown, conducting rigorous research that examines its practical impacts, obstacles, and reform potential has become increasingly important. Enhancing the standard of living for farmers and labourers in developing countries is the goal of fair trade’s unique approach. Furthermore, Fair trade affects the economy in many ways. It has effectively increased market competition and promoted producer cooperation. This thesis is organised into four chapters.
