The use of antibiotics for the treatment of osteomyelitis is still a major challenge today. A lot of research is still being done to overcome this problem. However, more can be done if not for the high cost. In this thesis, currently existing antibiotic treatments and future possibilities are dicussed. In addition, the pros and cons of the treatment methods are laid out for comparison.
