Treatment of silent cerebral aneurysms focuses on whether incidental aneurysms should be preventively treated or simply observed. This decision is based on case to case basis and is patient oriented. Mutiple treatment modalities are used in the case of patients with high risk of rupture. These include surgical clipping and endovascular management. Under endovascular management, simple coiling ,stent assisted coiling and balloon assisted coiling are the most common. There is also new developments including the use of flow divertors and arterial bypass.
