Absztrakt
This study examines the role of strategic planning and management in the effectiveness of microcredit, using Grameen Bank as a case study. It explores how microfinance contributes to poverty alleviation, financial inclusion, and women’s empowerment, particularly in rural contexts. The study applies strategic management tools such as PESTEL, Porter’s Five Forces, and internal–external evaluation matrices to assess the institution’s operating environment and performance. Findings indicate that Grameen Bank’s success is driven by its innovative group-lending model, strong governance structure, and focus on social objectives alongside financial sustainability. However, challenges such as technological limitations, external competition, and borrower vulnerability remain significant. The thesis concludes by proposing strategic recommendations, including digital transformation and enhanced financial literacy, to improve long-term sustainability and impact.
