This thesis focuses on the rehabilitation of Alzheimer's disease patients in a virtual reality space. The history of virtual reality technology and some of its applications in the medical field, such as in treating medical conditions such as anxiety, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and Alzheimer's disease, are first presented. The impact of Alzheimer's disease on society and some of the corresponding therapeutic directions, such as Drug and Non-drug interventions, are then presented, with details of Cognitive stimulation therapy in Non-drug interventions and Alzheimer's disease. The presentation will focus on Cognitive stimulation therapy in non-drug interventions and its application in treating Alzheimer's. Finally, a virtual reality-based Alzheimer's disease rehabilitation training space was created using the CST treatment approach as the main focus.
