This thesis intends to explore how Supernatural stays true to the lore on Judeo-Christian traditions and still integrates these materials into a unique and pop culturally digestible universe. Firstly, the world of Supernatural will be explained and how it developed since its premiere in 2005. Secondly, the characters depicted from the Bible and noncanonical texts will be analyzed and compared with their biblical counterparts. Finally, the show’s worldview will be introduced through two episodes, where gods of different religions and cultures are represented.hu_HU
