Formulation and investigation of ointments containing Diclofenac Sodium and Calendula Officinalis (Marigold).

Abstract

This study was designed to evaluate the penetration of diclofenac sodium through the artificial membrane by using the Franz cell. Also, compare the consistency of the topical ointment containing diclofenac sodium with and without calendula officinalis in different ointment bases.
