Alternative manufacturing techniques, such as 3D printing, have revolutionized medicine. The application of SLA-printed polyethylene glycol dimethacrylate (PEGDMA) hydrogels shows the potential to go beyond traditional “one-size-fits-all” drug designs, advancing personalized medicine through tailored drug delivery systems. This study proves that SLA-printed PEGDMA hydrogels are adaptable and effective for the creation of drug delivery systems. This distinct mechanical, swelling and drug-releasing behavior indicate their potential for personalized applications in different biomedical fields e.g. tissue engineering and wound healing.
