D-19 significantly impacted China's economy, causing simultaneous declines in both supply and demand. As the inflation rate is vital for economic stability and policy formulation, it became a focal point during the pandemic. The Chinese government quickly implemented measures such as adjusting monetary policies, ensuring the supply of crucial materials, and introducing fiscal measures like tax cuts to stabilize the economy and combat inflation. This research utilized literature reviews, theoretical analyses, empirical evaluations, and comparative methods to investigate inflation during the epidemic. Findings reveal that while the epidemic brought an inflationary trend, government actions effectively mitigated its pressures.
