Breast cancer is the most diagnosed cancer among women in the world (World Health Organization, 2021) . It is the fifth leading cause of cancer mortality (World Health Organization, 2021) . GLOBOCAN 2020 data showed that there were 2.3 million new cases of breast cancer in females and 685000 deaths worldwide. These numbers are expected to increase between 2020 to 2040. There are two main categories of breast cancer namely: Invasive and non-invasive breast cancers. Anatomical breast cancer stages range from stage 0 to stage 4. Sometimes, oncologist combine the TNM staging system with the anatomical staging (0 to 4) to assign a stage to a patient. Breast cancer is diagnosed through different tests like mammography, biopsy, MRI, Ultrasound, e.tc. After diagnosis, the patient and medical team will discuss the best treatment options for the patient. The type of treatment a patient will receive will depend on their type of breast cancer, the tumour size, the grade, the presence or absence of certain biomarkers and the stage of the breast cancer.hu_HU
