| dc.description.abstract | Although the data till present on this topic of research has not been able to conclusively identify causative relationships between periodontal diseases and arthritis, it is nonetheless extremely useful in establishing good understanding of elementary connections of AI types of arthritis and plaque-induced PD. This knowledge can help view patients with a better framework in mind relative to the risks associated with either of the two diseases when they present in a clinical setting. To conclude, further research should be conducted so that the missing pieces to the puzzle of this relationship can be correctly placed. It would enable a holistic approach in preventive therapy with better treatment options and patient management enhancing quality of life. | hu_HU |
