New advances in the treatment of pulmonary hypertension
Absztrakt
Pulmonary hypertension is a chronic disease with a devastating outcome. It is characterized by remodeling mechanisms that leads to an increase in vascular resistance of the pulmonary arterioles. Currently, there are definitive guidelines for the diagnosis and therapeutic strategies of pulmonary hypertension. This thesis will review the current regimen as well as the new advances in the treatment of PH, with a focus on pulmonary arterial hypertension (group 1), a wide group with a specific arterial manifestation causing narrowing of pulmonary arterioles.
