dc.description.abstractThe aim of this literature review is to analyze and consider the advancement, clinical uses, advantages, and disadvantages of TADs, which are used to provide a temporary yet stable anchorage for orthodontic purposes. Classification, types, and properties (e.g., biocompatibility, screw and thread design) will be addressed in this study. As well as location and placement method selections which are critical in influencing the success and duration of treatment. Lastly, clinical applications and factors affecting failure of TADs will be raised, allowing orthodontists to take into consideration before choosing this appliance in adjunction with the treatment plan.hu_HU
