The subject of this study will be the influence of religious ideas on one’s attitude towards economy, or to be more precise, towards capitalism in Canada. There are many shaping factors of the ‘Canadian Identity’ Robin Mathews argues in his book entitled the same. One of the factors that have an influence on the identity is definitely the religious belief system of an individual. Moreover this correlation might be an international one, which exists independently from different nationalities and ages, because already Max Weber wrote about it in the beginning of the twentieth century.hu_HU
