Non-verbal communication, including the different types of non-verbal cues, gestures, and body language, is such an efficient information carrier that it is becoming more and more important world wide. All kinds of companies and businesses put more emphasis on understanding and acquiring the knowledge of this field, for instance, by organizing special trainings for their employees. Companies and experts have appeared in the last few years, whose job is concerned with foreign cultures and their habits, practices and communication; and thus, their job is to help and guide, for instance, politicians, businesspersons and people, directly bounded to foreign affairs, in order to maintain a diplomatic relationship between different countries and people. Nowadays, when people from diverse cultures live and work together, being familiar with other cultures’ customs, values and non-verbal habits is crucial in order to maintain a comfortable and healthy relationship. However, one does not have to be an international businessperson or a politician to enjoy the benefits of the knowledge of non-verbal communication.
