In my thesis, I will examine the role of sexuality in Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel, Dracula, and in Interview with the Vampire, a 1994 film directed by Neil Jordan. My thesis is divided into three chapters. In the first chapter, I will explore how themes like the Victorian fear of sexuality or sexual repression are portrayed in Dracula. In the second chapter, I will demonstrate the dominance not only between human and vampire but between vampire and vampire. In the concluding chapter, I shall address some of the similarities and the differences between the two works through a comparative analysis.
