This thesis examines the representation of women in commercials. It discusses the connection between the expected role of women in society, and how commercials further exemplify these images. The focus is on mostly contemporary commercials, which advertise beer. This also helps to understand how men might view women, as beer is usually marketed towards them, and both genders are present in these kind of works. Also these commercials show that our perception of gender roles are still archaic and in the need of changes.hu_HU
