This thesis is dealing with a description of the pathology of bronchial asthma and the possible therapies. These include non-pharmacological solutions like speleotherapy and treatment with a wide variety of drugs. Special attention is paid to the adverse effects of certain agents, since they can have a negative impact on the oral health. Finally the dental aspects of bronchial asthma are described and what can kind of special attention asthmatics require for a successful dental intervention.
