My thesis explores the judgement of powerful women started from the seventeenth century's witch craze until our days. The power of women is always presented as evil and it results in their various cultural stigmatization, namely as witches, she-devils or femme fatales. I investigate what circumstances generate the development of evil powers and the consequences it entails concerning its destructive self-destructive force as well.
