One of the most popular herbals that is used as medicine nowadays is Ginseng. It has been used for centuries in Chinese medicine. It has various benefits for health effects, ranging from curing fatigue, anti-stress, and anti-oxidant to treating serious disease like hepatotoxicity or against cancer. The aim of this thesis will be focusing on the pharmacology of some of the most popular types of ginsengs such as Korean ginseng, Vietnamese ginseng, Chinese and American ginseng.
