In this thesis, we start with the importance of proper examination to have a proper treatment plan. The ferrule effect was discussed due to its importance in preventing complications. Different types of posts were discussed in their properties and aesthetics. Furthermore, the steps of post-fabrication were discussed, as well as the alternatives of posts such as endocrowns and short fiber reinforced composite.
