dc.description.abstractThis dissertation is mainly divided into two sections, aim to analyze the innermost connection between the poet and poems, to constitute a corresponding relationship within the spiritual and physical world; the first section is to make research about the Wind imagery and how to represent it in the poem from two aspects. One aspect is to explore the reason why the Wind regarding as exceptional imagery in the Romanticism period, and the other aspect is to acknowledge the use of Wind as imagery had different meanings in the historical periods, such as the West Wind. The second section is about the wind harp representing an important symbol in Romantic poetry, in particular, to elaborate on the employment of the wind harp in Romantic poetry.
