dc.description.abstractThis thesis is based on a retrospective study which was done at the surgical department of Auguszta Hospital. The advantages and limitations of laparoscopic splenectomy are analysed, an overview of perioperative details is provided, and the clinical outcome of the procedure is compared with that of open splenectomy. Moreover, the indications, contraindications, and complications of laparoscopic splenectomy are reviewed.hu_HU
