Patient-centered care has been proven to be a very significant factor in the quality of treatment. Patients are considered to be partners with their healthcare providers and these professionals handle the patients not just from a therapeutic point of view but also from a mental, social, moral, financial and emotional point of view. While concerns have been raised that the patient-centered care motion runs contrary to the evidence-based approach to medicine that focuses more on public health than individual health, nevertheless, these issues have been put to a close as proponents of evidence-based medicine have accepted that what is important and appropriate to each patient should be counted as a positive outcome.hu_HU
