MS is a degenerative inflammatory disease attacking the CNS. The disease mostly starts as an isolated vision loss and then pursued by many other neurological manifestations such as autonomic dysfunction, cerebellar disturbances and on later phases even mental status changes. The main objective of this thesis is to research thoroughly the characteristics of the new pharmacological advancement of the therapy regimens of MS. In this dissertation the dossier of literature is researched in order to present the current treatment of MS and its division to acute therapy of the disease and the more current disease modifying therapy. Under the field of disease modifying therapy biological therapy, new oral therapies and injection platform therapy was discussed.
