The text concentrates on the code-switching in some countries, namely in Paraguay, Nigeria, and Iran. Code-switching is observed mainly in English classrooms especially in the case of Iran. In Paraguay Guaraní and Spanish, while in Nigeria Yoruba and English are investigated.
