In my thesis, I am dealing with a stage play, titled as August: Osage County by Tracy Letts. My aim is highlighting the most significant differences between masculinity and femininity with the help of characters from the play. I am focusing on gender-related issues which saturated the whole story. Throughout my thesis, I am explaining the different sources of conflicts, the importance of youth and ageing, the different addictions and its effects. I am comparing the play with its movie adaption titled the same as the play.hu_HU
