Absztrakt
Since its inception in 2014, The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has been an effort by China to challenge the US-dominated economic system and expand its economic partnerships in Asia and Europe. This thesis utilizes the SWOT-PEST model to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges of the BRI within the global environment. Additionally, it examines the trade competition and complementarity between China and Hungary within the BRI framework, using various economic indicators to demonstrate the potential for mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation.
