The television series Love, Victor (2020-2022) depicts Victor Salazar's journey from youth to maturity, significantly illustrating how one grapples with personal desires in the face of societal expectations. The aim of this paper is to analyse the influencing factors of the protagonist's maturation while highlighting the similarities between the television series and the Bildungsroman genre.
