Absztrakt
This thesis explores the theme of identity performance through dress in three Irish films. It analyses A Man of No Importance (1994), Breakfast on Pluto (2005) and Albert Nobbs (2011). It especially focuses on the way the movies show queerness and the way cinema shapes our understanding of it. It alasyses the way the characters challenge societal order through their performance.
