This thesis examines corporate civil liability for damage caused by high-risk artificial intelligence systems under European Union law. While the EU has adopted the Artificial Intelligence Act as a comprehensive regulatory framework based on a risk-based approach, the Regulation primarily focuses on preventive obligations and administrative enforcement, leaving issues of civil liability and compensation largely unresolved.
