dc.description.abstractThis thesis provides a comparative analysis of beef cattle farming systems, contrasting the advanced methodologies of Hungary with the traditional practices prevalent in Mongolia, and analyzes the effects of these differences on efficiency, sustainability, and economic outcomes. Hungary's beef cattle sector is characterized by a high degree of modernization, with sophisticated infrastructure and the adoption of cutting-edge techniques. These advancements have significantly enhanced the sector's productivity and efficiency, enabling it to effectively meet both domestic and international market demands. The emphasis on export requires adherence to stringent quality standards, which in turn drives the integration of advanced farm technologies. Conversely, Mongolia's farming is rooted in traditional, extensive grazing practices. These methods are inherently connected to the nation's cultural heritage; however, often result in lower productivity and present challenges such as overgrazing and water management issues. The gradual adoption of modern technologies within Mongolia's sector indicates a slow but steady transition towards increased efficiency.
