Lipid Lowering Techniques In Atherosclerotic Patients
Absztrakt
Atherosclerosis is a multifactorial disease, the principal agent that plays the major role in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis is blood cholesterol levels. Due to this reason, the therapeutic goal in the management of patients with atherosclerosis involves lowering of blood cholesterol and lipid contents, resulting in the slowing down and regression of the atherosclerotic plaque as well as improving the blood supply to the organs and tissues . this thesis attempts to provide a general review of the effectiveness of agents in the management of high risk patients .
