dc.description.abstractThe paper makes a short incursion in the history of intellectual property to trace the roots of this domain in order to emphasize the evolution of this domain brought by the digital revolution. The author tries to provide a global perspective, looking both at the common and civil law institutions and examine the legal limitations that can be used to enforce a balance between intellectual property rights owners and consumers, while also providing reasonable access to culture in the digital environment.hu_HU
