dc.description.abstract | Acne is a skin condition featuring chronic inflammation of the pilosebaceous glands. It is the most common skin problem among teenagers and has been causing certain impacts in patient life quality. Acne is generally caused by seborrhea, hormonal alterations during puberty, abnormal keratinization, dysregulation of immune system, diet, and a change in the phylotypes of the colonizing Propionibacterium acnes. Different treatments are available, such as topical therapy, systemic therapy, or other alternative medications, despite the many efforts towards the understanding of acne pathogenesis and treatments standard guidelines with optimal acne remedies are still under debate. | hu_HU |
